Could immigrants on iMiMatch actually celebrate Trump’s impeachment inquiry?

President Trump and his lawyer Rudy Giuliani ran what amounted to a shadow foreign policy in Ukraine, aimed at finding and spreading political dirt, that unfolded against the backdrop of elections in both countries. The overlap between that effort and the president’s official foreign policy toward Ukraine is at the center of an impeachment inquiry. Mr. Trump was driven to seek proof that the meddling in the 2016 election was linked to Ukraine and forces hostile to him, even fixating on a fringe conspiracy theory suggesting that Hillary Clinton’s missing emails might be found there. And Mr. Giuliani, backed by his boss, sought to tar former Vice President Joe Biden with unsubstantiated accusations.

But that is not the reason why immigrants on iMiMatch would celebrate that a formal impeachment inquiry has been opened into the president’s dealings, is it? No! Immigrants have quite a completely different issue with the president who happens to be the arch- obstacle to their immigration settlement. It is not news to anyone that since Donald Trump became President of the United States, he seems to have a particular problem with accepting people from other countries coming in as immigrants into his country. To express his anti-immigration views, he has reinforced border patrols, built more detention centers at the borders and limited access into his country only to asylum.

For all of these reasons, he has become the main obstacle to immigrants in the country; reason why immigrants on iMiMatch are celebrating basing their joy on the possible speculative outcomes of the president’s impeachment inquiry. This inquiry could actually lead to impeachment, maybe destitution and even if the president remains in power, there is a possibility that an impeachment inquiry could damage any chances of a re-election. And only if all or one of these happens, would immigrants have a hope of a different leader who might not concentrate so much on making things hard for them when they want to enter the United States. That is why immigrants on iMiMatch are happy and praying for a positive outcome for them.
